Please do not add or change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to Stewie Kills Lois and Lois Kills Stewie. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. -- Doniago (talk) 03:35, 22 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Bowdlerization

[edit]

Please don't edit articles to remove profanity, as you did here; Wikipedia is not censored. Trivialist (talk) 22:56, 6 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on ValuSoft Games requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Intel, etc.

[edit]

I removed your edit to the Intel article. You'd stated that Intel Corporation was known as Intel Inside as of 1990, but that is simply incorrect. Intel Inside is Intel's co-operative marketing program and not the actual name of the company. If you'd like to change it back please provide a reliable source. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Electriclarryland, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. ≈ Prometheus  «talk» 15:28, 13 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You also made an incorrect edit to Midway Games. Midway Games has not been disestablished. It is still an active corporation in the process of liquidation. See the Delaware Secretary of State's website. -- Ssilvers (talk) 21:49, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I figure I'll just add to this discussion tree-- I undid your edit from Alice in Wonderland (2000 video game), both reliable sources I checked say that Nintendo published, not Disney. Nomader (Talk) 14:07, 26 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

September 2010

[edit]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. When you make a change to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to Diary of a Wimpy Kid (film). Doing so helps everyone to understand the intention of your edit. It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. Hello, I am wondering, are you Donald McKinney (talk · contribs)? Erik (talk | contribs) 17:35, 3 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Yamaha Corporation. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. --DAJF (talk) 14:35, 4 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In case you didn't know, the Diary of a Wimpy Kid Do-It-Yourself Book and the Wimpy Kid Movie Diary are part of the series, but do not precede or follow any of the book; they are spinoffs. Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at 2 Girls 1 Cup, you may be blocked from editing. --Geniac (talk) 23:42, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits. The next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did to Transamerica (film), you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Erik (talk | contribs) 13:30, 8 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:SCIENCE-CHANNEL-LOGO.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:SCIENCE-CHANNEL-LOGO.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 23:06, 3 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is your only warning. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Lawn Dogs, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Erik (talk | contribs) 21:16, 4 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Waste Land (film) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Seems to be a non-notable film.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. E. Problems with upload of File:Cool it poster.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Cool it poster.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or provided a license tag. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

To add this information, select the appropriate license tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the information to the image's description. If you can't find a suitable license tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 02:05, 13 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Blood on the Dance Floor (group) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} at the top of the article, immediately below the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate), and providing your reasons for contesting on the article's talk page, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

You may want to read the guidelines for specific types of articles: biographies, websites, bands, or companies. 78.35.221.87 (talk) 14:27, 21 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
